Description: This graceful small tree has the fern-like foliage typical of mimosas but in a strikingly, rich warm chocolate-color. And the dark hues dramatically set off the pink, fluffy flower heads which appear in late summer, perfuming warm, evenings and attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. The burgundy- brown foliage keeps its color from summer through fall, even in hot, humid conditions like the American South.
